Yes, the planet is "horrible" because is a enemy alien planet and must be "horrible"

Good for beginners to get used to the filters and some tools but honestly, this looks horrible. The nebula wasn't bad but those "planets" were just horrible. Use a high res rock texture for the surface and add inner & outer glows for a soft edge.

thanks for the tutorial. I am new to PHotoshop and i found it user friendly and my outcomes were the same as the tutorial sample.
